Windows11 Reset
You have the option to reset your PC while you are logged into your Windows account. This can be done by accessing the settings menu and selecting the reset option. It is important to note that resetting your PC will erase all personal files and settings, so be sure to back up any important data before proceeding with the reset.
Here are the steps:
- Click the Windows Start Button
- On the Keyboard type "Reset". "Reset this PC" should appear in the start menu. Left click "Reset this PC.
- From the "Recovery" screen, click "Reset PC"
- On the "Reset this PC" popup Select "Remove everything"
- Depending on your version of Windows 11, you may get an additional screen giving you the choice of "Cloud Download" or "Local Install. It is recommended that you choose "Local reinstall" as testing shows the "Cloud Download" to take several hours versus about 15-60 minutes using "Local reinstall"
- On the "Ready to reset this PC" screen click the "Reset" button

- The Preparing to reset screen can take as little as a couple of minutes up to several hours depending on the available system resource

After the reset completes, you will be presented with the "Out of the Box" experience. When prompted, select the appropriate "Region" and "Keyboard Layout" and connect to your Wi-Fi. When you get to the "How would you like to set up this device?" screen, please select the "Set up for work or school" option and sign into your office 365 account using your Okta details
Follow the remaining on-screen steps and within a few minutes, you should be able to access your user account!
